The first IHEP-BINP Accelerator Collaboration Workshop on China Electron Positron Collider (CEPC) was held at the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP) from January 12 to 13.

The Meeting was chaired by Prof. GAO Jie, a team leader from IHEP Accelerator Division. Six scientists from Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics, Russia and more than 20 scientific staff from IHEP joined in the workshop.

Scientists from IHEP and BINP made presentations about the design of accelerator physics at CEPC, which involves CDR design objectives and requirements at CEPC, CEPC double ring scheme and CEPC crab-waist parameters, final focus design, CEPC Alternating field booster design, MDI study, magnet error correction, the beam-beam interaction, Beam energy calibration and so on.
